Hero Sports article on the Top 25 recruits in FCS

    http://m.herosports.com/news/fcs-rec...s-fcs-football

It is based on 247's rankings at the time of the recruit's verbal commit.
They also will be looking at the Top 100 later, also based on 247.
NDSU's highest ranked commit is TE Noah Gindorff at #34.

21 OL Tyler Ciurej Bellevue, Neb. 6'4" 295 South Dakota

6 WR Reggie Crawford St. Louis, Mo. 6'2" 190 South Dakota

#1 on the list goes to Sam Houston, an instate QB, Ty Brock.

5 of the Top 25 are going to the Ivy League, 3 of those to Penn.

Grand Forks Community College has #15 on the list, DE Ezekiel Ott, Caledonia MN. He is the recruit Ryan Burns had a tweet about where the Gophers might take another look at him. Perhaps Ott will be a back-up plan for Coach Fleck.

SDSU's highest ranked recruit at the time of this article came in at #100, LB Levi Brown.

The Dakota schools are killing it this year and have clearly stolen UNIs mojo

Recruiting roundup: South Dakota sweeps the state, Hawkeyes, Cyclones and more

Securing seven commitments from Iowa high school players would be a strong recruiting year for the Hawkeyes or Cyclones. But getting seven accepted offers to go to South Dakota?......

South Dakota head coach Bob Nielson is a Marion native who attended and began his career at Wartburg.....

Nielson’s staff includes offensive line coach and Des Moines native Bill O’Boyle, former Drake assistant Mark Watson, and former Morningside assistant Collin Prosser. Even football operations personnel are from Iowa, meaning the Coyotes might not be done sweeping through the state to their southeast any time soon.

Interesting... Neilson is doing a great job recruiting. Iowa is to USD what Minnesota is to NDSU.

Now, according to Wilson, Elazazy has verbaled to Western Michigan.
So the Redbirds end up being negatively affected by the Fleck hiring at
Minny, since he raided so many of the Western Michigan recruits.

And the follow-up article, the Top 25 recruits in the MVFC

    http://m.herosports.com/news/fcs-rec...-football-mvfc

    #22 OL Zach Willis

    #20 DE Spencer Waege

    #16 OG Nash Jensen

    #11 DE Tanner Sundt

    #6 is QB Holden Hotchkiss

    #4 is TE Noah Gindorff

WR Reggie Crawford - South Dakota - remains atop the MVFC recruits

So while it is easy to be disappointed by a couple of late decommits,
the 247 rankings show the depth of NDSU's recruiting class.
6 of the Top-25 in a 10 team conference for the Bison, not choo bad.
Other MVFC schools may end up with a decommit or 2 as well.

Jacks with 5, 'Yotes with 5 each currently.

Price of poker in mvfc is getting higher. NDSU will remain the standard bearer of excellence. But we need to stay vigilant. Go Bison.
