When I left the state it had to do with the weather. Nothing to do with the state itself. Most of the people I talk to who have left it is mostly just because they're sick of winter.

Or jobs/wages. When we left North Dakota in 1996 I found a job similar to what I had in Fargo only it paid twice as much. There are other people who leave because they prefer living in large cities.

Now I'm guessing NFL scouting departments weren't caught that unaware but it sure looks like Watson made some money last week regardless.

Fairly certain that all 32 are spending time in Fargo every year these days. They all knew who Christian Watson was well before the Senior Bowl.

I think it's more a case of initial time and energy is spent at the P5 level and then attention trickles down as the draft process rolls along.
