Christian Watson is clearly very intelligent.

I’m honestly not sure if that first bit is directed at Manzel, Manning, or both.

Pretty high praise from Davante Adams for the guy who's taking his old roster spot.

A real interesting name kept showing up in the picks for offensive rookie of the year

It's all but certain to be a receiver. None of these QBs will be stars this fall. Backs are being marginalized more and more. Why not a big tall guy catching passes from the best QB in the game?

CW had the “drops” at OTA’s according to Packer Report. Hopefully just nerves. Also sounds like he has lots of completion at WR with some P5 signees.

Lot of pressure on the young man. While an incredibly talented contributor for us, no WR ever has to be "the guy" in NDSU's run first offense. And to be drafted to be Davante Adams replacement.

I completely agree. I hope he settles in and becomes the playmaker most believe he can be. Most players don't dominate from day 1 like Justin Jefferson or Randy Moss.
    If it flies it dies.

Long for the days of freezing in the south stands of Dacotah Field.

To take that a step further, many beat writers for the Vikings thought Jefferson was underwhelming (not bad) in training camp his first year and he was expected to primarily be a solid WR3 or 4 that first year behind....Olabisi Johnson. Also, Jamar Chase had a pretty awful first training camp and preseason(maybe?) if I recall with tons of drops. It would be best for everyone to hold back the judgment reins a bit on his first few months at the very least.

    Enough of that rational thought!

Just getting settled into a new city is probably enough to mess with your concentration and preparation.
It's OK to not be OK.
