He has adjusted some routes already based on what was said post game. Even his first td on Sunday he adjusted that route to break back out to help Rodgers and this isn’t the first time. Sometimes he had adjusted the route and not gotten the ball but distracted the safety.

Please rewatch the 2nd half of last week's game to fully understand the power and potential of C Wats. Bears defenders were completely helpless against him. They tried their very best to cover him man-to-man that only lead to pass interference. They started playing zone defense and Christian Watson ran for 15 yards before they could catch him. This is after standing 10 yards ahead of him, he still got 15 yards. Then again they tried man-to-man defense and C Wats just outran them. Bears DBs just gave up and they almost had a terrified look on their face.

Fact is that CW, right now, is limited at what he can do because of inexperience. He does not yet know how to cut a route off and look for back shoulder balls and or change his route based on coverage. He is right now limited to blowing by secondary or getting open on broken/extended plays. I’m thinking and hoping all of that will improve with time, but he certainly didn’t learn those things here at NDSU, and has yet to in the NFL.

2nd half , Christan Watson with 2 catches, 1 for 10 yards and 2nd for 13 yards , took Packers to red zone, then Jalen Ramsey illegal contact penalty on Watson, and next play Packers RB AJ Dillon scores a TD, it was all Christian Watsons.
