wait for a fire during the reconstruction to finish the building off.

I don't know...I think Sabo puts up a building, cuts corners, and makes us all laugh at the grand plan he gave.

A building that hasn't had its plumbing, drywall, or any finishing work is not "in [the] final stages of reconstruction".

Bison Turf in final stages of reconstruction, owner expects August reopening

Not buying an August completion date either. So far he's set dates of Oct of 2016, and March, May, July and August of 2017.

    This line is particularly delicious

Sabo said complying with the city of Fargo building codes, such as adding larger water pipes and a sprinkler system, took longer than he expected.
I'll bet that's the first time he's ever done that.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What I really wanted to know is if he managed to preserve the ass stench.

From what I've heard it was insisted upon that the original bar top stay intact during the reconstruction so they can still maintain the dive factor somewhat even if the stench is mostly gone.

If they don't have stained glass windows in the newly remodeled Turf I'll be disappointed though.
