Delayed again. Not surprised. Just take your time, get it right, don't do it half assed, and reopen when you can. Make The Turf great again!!

I am not sure if Gilmour is saying building one way or another wouldn't change the timeline because that is the regular timeline for these things or they are going to screw with him so bad it doesn't matter what Sabo does it is going to take forever.

Some years ago, I remember my mom saying that the Bison Turf used to be called the Hasty Tasty (the Hasteless Tasteless was her pet name for the place) so I did some searching this morning. Things I found out: the 1957 tornado ripped the roof off the "A.C. Hasty Tasty", the same tornado did extensive damage to NDSU, and also found a Valley News story that said the place was called the Hasty Tasty until 1988 - which I think is wrong - maybe it became the Bison Turf in 1988, but it was not called the Hasty Tasty in 1987 - I thought it was just The Turf. Anyway, I had no idea that the '57 tornado did that much damage to the NDSU area - I thought it wiped out Golden Ridge and that was about it.

This image shows how much damage the Hasty Tasty & College YMCA received: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ndsu-u...7629673423387/

Also, something new I learned today about the 1957 Fargo Tornado:

    Hail the BISON!!!

In 1977, it was a Mexican food place called the Red Onion. It wasn't open long, maybe a year.
