Well, that escalated quickly from mourning the loss of a favorite dive to trashing a slumlord owner.

I wonder what his insurance company will think about his admission during the live TV coverage that he smelled an electric fire earlier in the day, but only called a service company and not the fire department.

So many of the best places (especially the great "bad" places) are owned by sleezebags.

He's always been a sleazy slumlord, but he's never been the Turf, just a dope who happened to own the structure and now may have ruined it for everyone.
Some say it's a backward place. Narrow minds on a narrow way, but I make it a point to say. That that's where I come from.

I hope "Mulligan's" in Cedar Falls is owned by a decent person. The waitresses are awesome and never have issues dealing with my shenanigans.

Based on "drive by" inspections of the recovery progress, I am estimating 30 years not 30 days until the Turf re-opens.

As long as that white castle serves beer...
and has the same fries as the Turf...
and the same drummies then I'm all for it.

Also I want the same bartenders...
    and also the tacos...
Oh and the chicken strip sandwich.

Ok on second thought I just want the Turf back and they can add greasy little sliders to their menu.

No turf burger at homecoming is a bit depressing.
I don't care how the vote ended up. They still suck and always will.

December 1st is the new goal. That roof top patio should be nice that time of year.

The white jerseys are the best. Don't even bother to argue.
