We know this kid and his family...Lincoln is a straight shooter, when he wants something, he goes after it 100 percent. Incredible work ethic, high level of integrity. This community is so proud of him for going for and achieving his dream, to play for NDSU. There has been a lot of SD press regarding his commitment decision. Yeah, me and my dad got a chuckle out of that one. They would frequent the high school track meets in SW ND in the 80s and I never knew their knickname

As a NWSD resident all my life except for my NDSU years I can tell you that "Jolly" is not actually a part of their nickname. I wish it were though.
