You'll need a strong stomach to watch this:

I certainly have no ill will as bad things happen to good people all the time. I am sure you could relate to Blair Walsh in the Vikes/Seaducks game.

The worst part of it was after that were the jokes that were being made.....it was pretty brutal, but out of respect, will not repeat here.

Yes. Foreign exchange student in Detroit Lakes. I lived there at the time. Some stories there. Especially the 90 yard kick on 4th down. Basically the same as a punt but from a place kick.

The infamous missed FG was above the uprights. There's some question if the call was correct.

What I remember most is that the veer option Bison never spent energy recruiting a kicker, they just went for it on fourth or went for two but there was this swede kicker down the road in DL so they brought him in and they finally had a kicker. I listened to most of those games on the radio so I never watched him live. Neat story though

Same for me. That was my senior year, so we'd have a football game on Friday evening, then I would haul my sore body into my dad's pharmacy and work all day Saturday. I have great memories of listening to Bison games in that pharmacy, and this is one of them, even if a bit painful.

If he'd made that kick he'd have cheated us out of a "memory".

Noticed that was only regular season loss that year until double OT loss to Pittsburg st in playoffs at their place. If he makes that kick, bison undefeated and home through playoffs.
