Where do you come up with this squirm crap?

I dont look at the no vacancy as a problem. It creates a market. It makes it the ticket to get. 3 years ago you could pretty much find a ticket for any game if you really wanted one.

Of course it would be great if we had more seats RIGHT now. As I said before 3 years ago more seats werent needed. We are in a good spot right now. This run isnt going to last forever. When it happens you wont see the demand you do now.
The same was said when the FFD was being planned. Dakota field wasn't filled either. Sure there are going to be years when the dome isn't filled but you build for the future. It's called vision, some have it, some don't. Would it be easier to get the ball rolling now or when we are in a down turn?

Soooo whos getting the ball rolling? Its only beeen discussed what? A couple hundred times this year alone? The University realizes the issue. TM does as well as the Dome. They have had many ideas presented. As far as cost its cheaper to scrape it and start over that to throw millons in a patch work fashion just to gain a small number of seats of which the ROI would be minimal and take along time to get there.
Im not opposed to more seats but the current FD structure doesnt make it a cost effective. Now where that whip. Ive got a dead horse to beat.

It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

That's why IMO there needs to be a discussion about a new stadium. Not a dome, something that can be built with expansion in mind. It could be done for much less money then a new building.

Well, you could make an outdoor stadium in Fargo and it would solve the "lack of seating" problem, that's for sure... maybe not for the reasons we'd like though.

I see what you did there.

You aren't wrong Tony. As my Dad likes to point out, 'I remember freezing at games at Dakota field. This is much, much better.'

A certain Brock Jensen has mentioned he probably wouldn't have come here without the dome either. If you rebuild it, you rebuild it as a 'dome'

And we also lose the noise advantage.

If they were to build a new dome, I would expect one of the requirements to the architects to be, "Make it fucking loud."

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom.
