    So sorry to hear. I truly felt he had the skills to make it. Give him a chance NFL! Tough to make it in a profession where there are 32 positions available in the country.

    This is the life of a punter or kicker. Very few are anointed from the get go. Even with the expanded roster spots in pre-season, every roster spot is deemed extremely valuable and if a punter or kicker doesn't blow you away vs the incumbent, they are the first to be let go to make room for another LB or OL candidate. Hopefully he gets another shot with another team and make a name for himself among the coaches. Even if he doesn't make it this go around, if he impresses enough people, openings will happen in the NFL and coaches do talk.
