How about, "I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later." My son worked with him at a comedy club in the cities and they "hit it off." Mr. Hedberg was apparently also a fascinating guy after hours... (I chose not to "inquire" about stories!) Now back to Bonnet.

Andrew Bonnet is now #45 on the Eagles practice squad.

And beaten in the Bison in the NFL thread.

I just don't think there's a huge market for FBs.

That's a shame. He's a tough SOB. The NFL is bereft of them.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's a tough business. Have to give those guys credit who are borderline players who are able to stick around for a while.

Last year when the Eagles were using some NDSU like plays he made sense. Towards the end of the season the Eagles looked different. I am guessing they don't have enough FB play to justify Andrew.

The silver lining here is that CJ is probably safe for now.

Hopefully Bonnet gets a spot in a camp somewhere.

Rough time for pro Bison. Billy likely on his last chance. Bonnet out. Crockett out. CJ likely still on edge. Only Marcus, Carson, Kyle, and Joe safe right now. what a difference a year makes. Ramon has to be close to the end, too. (Fantastic career, though.)

One year is a big difference. In pro sports if you do not "flash" early were are 20 more guys just like you waiting for the chance. Teams will move on quickly to the next player. That is the sad reality of pro sports.

The former Bison football players that even had a small glimpse into any pro sport are lucky to have experienced that. They have put in a lot of hard work to fulfill their dreams. God bless them for the joy they have brought Bison Nation. Once a Bison, Always a Bison. Horns Up.
