As a U of M grad, I hope your wrong. Gene T would be the best hire that the Gopher's could make for the AD job. Not sure if their smart enough to offer him the job.

With all they have gone through, I can't picture any scenario where Goetz isn't named the permanent AD.

The gophers (or aka rodents) sports programs are so hopeless that not even Gene the Machine can fix them...they really, really stink, even at men's hockey now and that puts them at rock bottom....I don't see any recovery in site.
