NDSU Club Baseball
Nobody probably cares about club sports, but my nephew Dalton plays (usually hits cleanup and plays right field), so I've been following them.
They are playing SDSU in a doubleheader today at Jack Williams Stadium. If anyone has the itch to watch some baseball, go check them up. My brother will probably even give you a beer between games.

I believe they get a small sum from NDSU (not sure from where). They pay for their own uniforms, and did a fundraiser for their trip to Florida in mid-March (30 hour bus ride). They made up the difference themselves.

Any money they would get from NDSU would come from the student activity fee. Money is distributed to a long list of campus clubs.

Just asking this question, Why would a school have a club team if they have an actual team for that sport?

The school doesn't sponsor the club. Clubs are created by interested students, and most likely have players not at the D-I level.
