2024 Depth Chart Talk

My attempt at a projected depth chart below. Ill update as we get new info.

QB: Couldnt ask for anything better if both come back

RB: Not confident we have any solid between the tackles runner

OL: Worried about the middle and depth. Maybe Fraley plays Center and Friday starts at RG?

WR: Should be very good. Need a bigger body to step up. Hopefully Hegerle or Collins take a big step forward.

TE: Continue to utilize these guys and hopefully it increases. Stoffel and Williams are solid.

DL: Looks good on paper but need consistency and continue to get better.

LB: Depth a concern. Olson made it sound like Gulley will play more. Need to get better in space and tackling.

DB: Biggest concern. CW is solid. Where will we be pass defense wise?

I'm with you on the RB room. We really lack a dynamic RB. I'm hoping Charmar Brown may be in the mix. Also hoping we get back to using RBs in the screen game.

Tackling by all position groups has to improve.

I'm assuming kicker and punter are returning?

If Jung is our FS than we don't have any talent up and coming. Nothing personal against the guy but I don't believe he is a starting D1 safety. He doesn't have the physical tools to do it.

Let's hope there is some disruption at some positions. I mean that from a standpoint where talent plays over seniority.

Remember when we tracked freshmen and the 4 game redshirt rule? Seems like Entz didn't try to utilize the 4 game rule to maximum effect.

I'm optimistic for some good change under Polasek.
