I think the insiders is a bit more controlled info but the Brakedown seems to be different. Love Keith's rants on the Valley thinking like a bus league and speculation on realignment. Great rants on selection committees being an utter joke. Actually Keith goes on some pretty awesome rants pretty regularly and doesn't seem to care about the company line as much which is cool

The conference and the selection committee don't sign his checks It's not nothing, I get that, he vented at some institutions that maybe NDSU would prefer he didn't, or maybe not. But that's in a different category for a couple of reasons. One, they're hot takes not scoops and two, they're not about NDSU.

The only quibble I have here is just to remember that the only "scoop" you're ever going to get from them is a scoop NDSU wants you to get, which isn't really a scoop at all.

Fair quibble and each news/radio/TV has their bias. However, I will take an NDSU "scoop" compared to some of the "loads" from some of the other news outlets.

I agree with Audit. While I LOVE everything they are doing, and the great shows, it is a little like listening to state media in North Korea. I am okay with that, but still an important role to be played by others.

Brad Jones does a good job filling in for Keith Brake and it's a good change of pace. I like how he brings in the guys from Bison Illustrated like Swany and Joe Kerlin. I also liked the open discussion about building your dream football conference. I also like to hear Brian Shawn fill in on the Insiders.

You are most definitely wrong!!! NDSU pays both the majority of their contract and they absolutely hate when someone second guesses them. That was a big reason why Jeremy wanted to leave KFGO and the FAN.

This is true, but I'm ok with that. I can listen to what they say, understand they have a definite POV being so close to NDSU and then decide for myself what I think. I don't need a columnist or talk show host to tell me their opinion, while doing all they can to be controversial to create clicks and listeners. This is why I like to actually listen to the press conferences myself these days, rather than watching the news or reading the paper later.
