I am curious to see how SDSU, USD and UND parlay this into them getting better products and cash. If I remember right they were not getting much from media other than a thanks for giving us your content for little or nothing and we will do you a solid and put it on TV. Midco offered us a little over a million for 18 games and lost the bid curious what the others will get.

Thats to bad that they are locked into a contract for 10 years. I guess if Learfield wants to renegotiate with Midco then that would be that much more in their pocket but not the SD schools.

Yeah at this point Learfield is making the money. The Midco contract with SDSU is a 6 year starting in 2012, and USD just did a 10 year extension through 2026.
