Likely as he's on VNL... unless they get some other talent in that would push him aside.

Will be interesting to see who they can bring in nationally to do radio. Would be a good opportunity for someone to make a mark for themselves as shown the last 5 years get a lot of media play. Although be nice to have someone like Scott Miller who was happy where he was and not necessarily looking to be a big name broadcaster.

Speaking of that I heard an Ad this morning for Scottie Miller scholarship fund for athlete(s) getting a degree in mass comm/journalism field. Nice little memorial for him.

This is nice from the basketball side of it. Midco Sports does a good production and getting a deal with them finally gets NDSU basketball on par with the South Dakota schools in terms of media deals.

The radio deal is surprising. I guess AM 1660 goes to being the flagship of the Bison Radio Network? I'm surprised they were able to outbid the Radio Fargo-Moorhead and the Mighty 790. I'm guessing they either low-balled the bid or there's some politics behind the scenes going into that decision.

I know ESPN3 can pick up Midco broadcasts but I'm not sure they do that for all of them. Looking at SDSU's schedule last year not all the Midco SN games were also on ESPN3 but a good chunk of them were.

1660 has always been a hidden gem. Non-directional one pattern 10000 watt station that is underutilized.

790 sucks now. It's not the same 790 it once was. I switched to 970. Live and local... out of friggin Wisconsin. Besides streaming media is probably more important these days
