So my plan is to email someone, I guess josh and pat would be proper people to start with on this. If we're serious we need to have as many of us start doing it now so they can still "fix" it, not wait until it officially comes out. I'm not against any per seat donation actually expected something, but the level they're starting at is too much, basically because Bball is a different animal at NDSU. Not to mention very few people probably make every game of the year for basketball. 15 +/- games on various dates is much different than 6 which all occur Saturday.

Now they want me to go from paying $720 for my 4 seats to pay $2,720 for them? That's over 3 times as much as I pay for my football tickets. I love this team and I love this game but I simply cannot afford to spend $3000 on tickets. The only thing I'll say is it doesn't say per seat on the donation chart. If it's just a $500 flat donation plus my ticket prices, well that I can handle but if it really is per seat then they are going to lose a season ticket holder simply because they priced me out of them. I've held tickets all these years, including this one where I could only make 5 games just so I would have priority points accumulated to get better seats in the new arena and now I can't afford them. This is the most disappointing thing I've seen in a long time, I couldn't possibly be more upset by this.

I will be emailing as well, will be tough to renew at that price. Will likely just have to pick tickets up game by game. Frustrating...

Wait? That web link with an ndsuathleticfund.com address that was posted here isn't officially out yet?

This could easily blow that up.
I will more than likely be done with BB season tickets. Too pricy for me and not worth 150 a seat behind the basket. If I want to go Ill buy a ticket. If I cant get one, Ill stay home and watch BigBang reruns. They overestimate the product.

It will look funny at basketball games with everyone sitting behind the baskets (cheap seats). I too will have to carefully consider not renewing my season basketball tickets due to the high seat fees. Plus the fact that I live 100 miles from Fargo does not make BB games easy to get to on time.

Couldn't have said it better. Same boat for me and what appears to be many others.

I emailed Matt Larsen with that link here was his response:

I believe that the guide you are referencing is an earlier version. The final seat donation levels are significantly lower than the guide you saw. We will be sending out information to basketball season ticket holders in the coming weeks that will have the final seat map and pricing chart.

Thats good because I would consider the people that will actually spend time on a fan site to be pretty hard core fans and when you have the number on here and the other friends I have talked to that I know have season tickets the consensus and not by a small margin was that we would just be buying tickets on a per game basis and not getting season tickets at those seat license fees.
