It was about a month before single game tickets went on sale. That being said when they moved to the Scheels arena I got the order form in like May because they had to reassign season ticket holder seats. With the move back to campus at the SHAC I'm assuming it will be the same thing, current season ticket holders will get their renewal very early so they can assign everybody new seats, then season tickets will go on sale after that and then single game. Usually for new season ticket holders I think they go on sale in the fall like around August/September if I remember correctly.
Can anyone throw out a ball park figure on what season tickets for Men's basketball will be? I'm thinking about getting at least 4 seats in the SHAC. Figure that some day we might see a similar situation as we're seeing in the FFD with availability being an issue, and want to get them while I can.

Actually, I just looked, it was $178.

The interesting number will be how much the teammaker per seat fee will be. The scuttle I heard was they were pricing them quite aggressively. Will be interesting to see, how it all goes.
By looking at the number of empty seats every game over the last 2 years we are not a basketball school yet, and have a ways to go. We are getting there but nothing close to football and it will be interesting to see how much they try and squeeze out of people. They increased ticket prices about 40% when we moved to scheels.
Season tickets are for a lot of games and some people have a hard time making it to all or most of them. The New arena will drive demand to start but will the demand for tickets stay high especially if there is not a bad seat in the house and you can buy them day of.
On the not making it to every game front, is there a robust ticket exchange mechanism for basketball? Seems like it would be more relevant there than football where there are only 6 home games a year and they're all on the weekend. I know there's the big national/international players in the after market but do those get used a lot or is there a more local solution that's used instead.

I'm in the same boat of they hold the $150 per seat minimum I'll say screw it as I am not shelling out $600+ for 2 end zone seats when I'll make 2-3 games a year. I'll take my chances on someone here or somewhere getting me into the hands I want. If they dropped it to $25-$75/seat I'd be in. Really think they're over doing it, likely get some in the beginning due to remodel, would require the bball team to get to NCAA a couple times in the next few years to keep that place full though in my opinion.
Only way that makes it a tough decision is losing some of my priority points but can make that up with a few extra $50 donations.
