So tickets are $18 , so they need 2,222 actual paying fans to "just" break even, students will be on spring break , another great investment for a ND Public Institution... where's Blob Port?
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?

Mock the F'n Hawks if you want but I will admit I wish we were still playing. It would be fun to host a a non regional mid major in the Shac. I get that with the arena situation and injuries it didn't make sense for us this year, but it is still post season basketball. As for Jones, he absolutely deserves an extension and raise, can't be easy coaching basketball at a hockey school. He is doing exactly what they want; win enough to be competitive but don't steal the show by fielding a championship caliber squad. He's perfect for them.

Disagree. What are you really playing for in one of these second rate tournaments anyway?
Nothing. If it's not the NCAA Tournament or the NIT it is nothing. Who cares if a team is in one of the "other" tournament? Everybody will be watching the NCAA & NIT anyway.

IPFW will play San Diego State in the NIT....Omaha will play Duquesne in the CBI
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

CIT schedule, a lot of 17 win teams. The Bison made the right decision.

Lot of the lesser tournaments had trouble finding enough teams. I believe the CIT is a smaller field this year and the Vegas 16 is expected to turn into the Vegas 8 when the field is announced today. Just further shows more teams are opting to now play in these lesser tournaments.

Do you think that the Bison would have to rent Scheels
Arena for a home game also might have come into play??

Vegas 16 bracket released with 8 teams. Our old friend Oakland one of them.

I understand what you are saying and don't really disagree, but isn't this the same concept that Bison fans get upset about when people say "well it's not FBS I don't care" or better yet "You guys play D2 football"??
