Bresciani backed a stupid, stupid decision and then lied about it..... That is the bottom line. I hate Rob Port, but he exposed shameful behavior by Bresciani and stupidity by Matt Larson. Guys like Port see how DB helped NDSU grow and he will do everything to drag him down. He and others will find any way to shed negative light on NDSU.

Someone should put the fat bastard in his place. Brescani should be afforded the opportunity to change is stance on the media policy based on media reaction. it happens all the time. You can't always predict stuff like this. Get off it Port, show a little respect for a tough decision making process. This should be blip on the radar, not a big deal.

Port wrote an opinion piece saying he should be fired for the policy. So the guy goes out and changes the policy. So Fat Rob could have written something saying "job well done! " Nope. He does a records request and finds out he knew about it, although those texts don't prove WHAT he knew about the policy... Then calls for him to be fired.

Unbelievable how vindictive this guy is. He's must have serious anger issues and must be a very sad man. Karna will pay him back some day and I will be laughing my ass off.

So now that we have had a day or two to let this simmer.... What happens next?

Does DB resign or ride it out?
If he chooses to stay does has address the editorial written the Forum?
Any indication from the SBOHE whether this has any effect on his job performance?

Does anyone have any inside info on what might happen next?


My hope is that the following will happen:
1. DB addresses the media. Apologizes for what has happened and how he handled aftermath of the policy
2. DB/ML outline the specifics of the bids regarding what was requested. Shine some light on FCC and their hypocrisy
3. DB says that he will not resign and instead ride out the rest of his contract (i'm assuming he won't be asked back)
4. Publish any and all emails to and from any state legislator, other university president, SBHOE reps, media outlets, etc. during his tenure. If he is going to be subject to open records, then let it all out there for the general public. I'm sure that there are emails that certain individuals would not want to be shared. If there is truly a conspiracy to get rid of him then burn the whole f'n state down.
