I know what the rest of us can do next. Don't read the forum in physical print or their website. fewer eyes on their content means fewer dollars in their pockets. That also cuts into the anti-NDSU troll's bottom line.

    MY INSIDE SOURCE:

Dean Bresciani DIDNT KNOW THE MEDIA DEAL WAS SIGNED when asked, but he knew about the media deal. So its a TOMOTO TOMATO type of deal and of course like pavlov's dog, the media runs with it that he lied... but thats not the WHOLE story.

Any indication from the SBOHE whether this has any effect on his job performance?

My hope is that the following will happen:
    1. DB addresses the media. Apologizes for what has happened and how he handled aftermath of the policy
    2. DB/ML outline the specifics of the bids regarding what was requested. Shine some light on FCC and their hypocrisy
    3. DB says that he will not resign and instead ride out the rest of his contract (i'm assuming he won't be asked back)
    4. Publish any and all emails to and from any state legislator, other university president, SBHOE reps, media outlets, etc. during his tenure. If he is going to be subject to open records, then let it all out there for the general public. I'm sure that there are emails that certain individuals would not want to be shared. If there is truly a conspiracy to get rid of him then burn the whole f'n state down.
U serious ? Burn down the entire state because of a university president? Hardcore....

The issue isn't solely due to a situation with a university president.

The deeper issue here is a total lack of ethical oversight with state legislators and their media cronies.

Has the portly one ever admitted he has been wrong or does he just move to the next negative story he can create . Notice I said create and not report on.

I'd go with option B. I don't think that he even fully admitted to being wrong way back when he was the national dope of the week for his Obama keeps Socialist books in the White House library fiasco.

Yup, I have dropped my clicks on any of FCC websites to near zero. Someone have a list of all their newspapers besides the foolum and heraldo?

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

Let it ride out. The recent media deal looks bad, but he hasn't really done anything to warrant resigning. Unless he were to take one of the offers from somewhere else he often gets.

I admit I thought he needed to resign over the weekend, but the email was plausible and he can hang on. He is still a lame duck I think.
