We definitely need some help in the secondary. A shutdown cb can open up so many things for the defense. We have seen how not having one has affected us this year. When we had m will and cj they took away half the field and allowed us to disguise our coverages.

CJ Smith was a great player for NDSU, but he wasn't great immediately (the first time I remembered him as an impact player was when he made an over-the-shoulder pick in the Championship Game against Towson before the half - his Sophomore season). His progress to greatness is something we should expect out of Allison, Wimbush and company.

Marcus, on the other hand, was stud pretty much immediately. He had his moments too that are similar to what we get on our current backfield (the second GSU game stands out the most in my memory), but he was clutch when it came to picking-off QBs.

That would be an NCAA recruiting violation. So no, he should not.

I believe they mentioned on Twitter that they decided to delay their announcement and look into things further and perhaps take more visits.

Yup Malik Lofton has blown up, might be out of our range now, we shouldve put the full court press on him when we had the chance. WE NEED LOCKDOWN CORNERS!!!!
