Wyoming with 2 more verbals, including one who had a 2017 NDSU offer

The Cowboys received verbal commitments Tuesday from two high school recruits: cornerback Keyon Blankenbaker from Oak Park-River Forest High in Oak Park, Illinois, and defensive lineman Javaree Jackson from Wauwatosa West High in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

Blankenbaker was given a two-star rating out of five by 247sports.com. He had scholarship offers from Buffalo, Cincinnati, Central Michigan and North Dakota State. Blankenbaker also had interest from Wisconsin, Northern Illinois and Western Michigan.

Are these athletes that close to being fringe FBS players that they're holding out for so long? I think it's absolutely nuts we have no DB's in this class being a month away from LOI day.

Yes. Lofton (CB)/Campbell (RB/WR) were originally going to commit in October. They're delaying that decision.

Mitch West is a current Purdue verbal. But with the coaching change he is leaving his options open.
