Join the Green and the Gold Collective to take Bison football to the next level. Starts at $10 a month
The Green and The Gold Collective is excited to announce our #DriveToFive membership campaign. The goal of this campaign is to get to 500 monthly members. Reaching this goal will help us provide financial support to NDSU student athletes, including every returning member of the football team that saw action on the field last year!

Spot on. I all kids cared about was P5, then G5, then FCS, and if the FBS label is such a draw Easton Stick would be at Rutgers, Ellefson would be at Purdue, Radunz would be at Missouri, and a shitload of current players would be at G5 schools simply so they could be FBS.
Wrong Wrong Wrong!!!! haven't you been listening all this time. These recruits want an FBS School so they have a chance to play in the Music City Bowl, Why come to a school that plays for dumb championships, plays on ESPN, has an incredible following and and incredible atmosphere. Come on guys your smarter than this.
Let's slow down here. We are the exception to the rule and who knows what happens when this run finally does end. If you guys really think there is no appeal to playing in a bowl game, you do need to think again. NDSU is likely getting noticed more for the Carson Wentz thing than the championships. Kids want to know they will be developed where they go...and we can show anything is possible...even the #2 overall pick in the draft. I know some of you are REALLY out of touch with young kids these days, mostly because I'm not that old and I feel like I am pretty out of touch. Some of you FCS people are as bad or worse than the FBS crowd because you can't possibly see how playing in the FBS would be better than playing in the FCS. Frankly, same goes for kids that go to other programs. Some kids like to be the face of the turnaround while others want a piece of the magic/tradition. It's how recruiting works...you find what the kid is most concerned with and play to that strength. We just happen to have a lot of them right now.
