Ratelle's video reminded me a lot of Tyler Jangula's pro-day bench press. RIP Jangs.

Watch how the scout responds to Tyler not locking his elbows. Mr. Ratelle will get a similar response if he performs like he did in this video. On Ratelle's video, I counted about 7 reps that would have counted, most of them at the end when he was fatigued and resting with his elbows locked. Don't misunderstand, Ratelle is an absolute beast, as was Jangula. But he needs to be coached up on locking his elbows properly if he wants those reps to count.

Glad you brought up Roehl. Like him Ratelle has a body type that everyone see's and immediately says fullback. When they see him play it becomes very clear that he's a monster LB, just a bit short. Kinda like how Roehl was a wrecking ball with breakaway speed at RB despite being built like a FB.

I heard the same thing about the body type/full back stuff. How's his hands?

Agreed, but this is an all or none proposition. Tyler's being worse doesn't matter, they both are below the threshold of a quality rep.

He was on UNDs hands team. He's also a great basketball player believe it or not. Imagine trying to stop a 250lb point guard was handles and vision.

He also plays football when he's not lifting things. I'd recommend looking at the highlight at the 4:06 mark against ISU. All I have to say is boom.

I was gonna post a UND highlight from the UND / NDSU game , but there wasn't one. Not a single one.
