    I think the fact that we have won 5 in a row in only 8 years of playoff eligibility, with 2 different coaching staffs, and 3 different starting quarterbacks, in an era of an expanded playoff field needing 4 playoff wins to win the title, and doing all this in an era of spread them out wide open high scoring offenses puts NDSU's football program as, amazingly, already one of the best FCS program in history.

    Impossible.

    It's only common sense that if you are perfect, you are also the best.
    To be the best, you have to beat the best.
    Therefore, NDSU would have to beat NDSU to be perfect.
    However, NDSU only loses when NDSU beats itself.
    Ergo, not happening.

    Of course, I'm guessing "to be the best" should actually read "to become the best."
