NDSU has 14 players. Who is not on scholarship? Does knotek and cook leave so they can get playing time elsewhere? Im not sure how they fit in.

He has got to be talking about that Moorhead kid. I am guessing we have offered 4 for 5 years guess grayshirt to him. We do have 5 scholarships available (5 juniors with on commit).

Maleeck Harden-Hayes (6’ 5” 180) also has an offer from SDSU. And D2 offers from Sioux Falls and the Dragons.
He is built like Tyson Ward coming out of high school, so would be a good fit on the Bison roster next season. If they win the recruiting battle with the Jackrabbits, Harden-Hayes could redshirt next year with Ward a senior and the entire Bison roster returning. Of course, someone else could step in with a late offer......

Knotek and Cook could be redshirt candidates next season also with the depth on the roster. Same with Christensen.

NDSU is currently over 1 scholarship (someone on the current roster that's playing isn't on scholarship). With Christensen coming in they will be over 2 scholarships, and if a 3rd comes in they will be over 3 scholarships. I'm sure it will work out but it will be curious to see who leaves/reshuffles scholarships.

    This is a correct statement.

While I agree I think he is a great defender and maybe even under utilized as as a defender athletic and long.... has yet to show much on the offensive end

I don't know the individual situations, but in the past there have been players offered scholarships for four years of their five possible years. Meaning, one year they would be paying full tuition.
