NDSU recruit Jarius Cook, 6’ 3” G, Park Center HS, was named to the 2018 Star Tribune 2nd Team All-Metro Team. In a sign of how much Minnesota high school basketball has improved over the years, all five 1st Team selections are P5 recruits (the one sophomore will be).
We are bringing in some nice guards, now all we need are a couple of bigs.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

SURPRISED me that he said in a week---he would announce---his Dream school must've offered

Wish he grew up watching the Bison play---maybe he would become a Bison

*** Another note---Former Walkon G Jake Mertens transferring to Moorhead St.

Between his dad playing at NDSCS and him saying he wants to play in the NCAA tourney and be part of a big upset gives me hope that he might be considering signing with the Bison, fingers crossed

A lot of positives that might be in NDSU's favor. Proximity to Fargo would allow parents to attend games, agriculture school (if he plans on farming), mother is from Fargo, Division I. Let's hope !

Crazy shooting #'s from Vinnie. Very excited about him coming to NDSU.

Yeah, me too. With shooting like that, have been wondering if the 5’ 10” Shahid and 6’ 2” Cam Hunter could spend some time together in the backcourt. Smallish, but the Bison might be able to get away with it in bursts, especially in conference play where teams tend towards slightly smaller lineups (as compared to P5 teams).
A Shahid-Hunter backcourt Might be part of a good scoring unit.

I am excited to see what Kreuser looks like after an offseason of college conditioning. He showed a lot of promise and looks to have the body that could bang with people down low and he can step out and hit the 3 occasionally. If he develops a short to mid jumper he could really round out his game.

I don't think there's any farming aspirations for this one... my guess would be teaching/coaching. Only a junior... there's time.

The Brooklyn Center / Breckenridge Cowboy game is on. Unfortunately, Breck is behind by 14.... still in the first half. KBMW radio 1450. Or prepspotlight.tv
Let's make that an 8 pt deficit with a couple min to go in the first half.
