How 'bout that Becker connection! Beau Pauly is Dillon Radunz'
high school teammate. Plus the Veldman brothers are from Becker,
current Bison QB Michael and former Bison TE and NFL'er Matt.

Pauly has an interesting opportunity with the Bison, especially if
MLB is his best position. Nick DeLuca will be a senior next season
and Matt Plank a junior. Could see Plank starting at one of the LB
positions as a senior in 2017, considering all 3 starters at LB in 2016
should be seniors. Pauly can work himself into that 2017 competition.

Becker High School LB Beau Pauly named North Squad's defensive player of
the game in 2016 Minnesota Football Coaches Association All-Star Football Game. North wins 38-19 over the South.

The two aren't the only Becker players who could have been selected to play in Saturday's game.
Teammate Dillon Radunz, a 6-foot-6 defensive end/tackle who was named Times All-Area player of the year, is also headed to North Dakota State to play football.
He was named the Times male athlete of the year at the first Central Minnesota Sports Awards Banquet last week. But he is on a trip to Belize this week and was not available to take part.
