Jabril is having a good game tonight against Florida. The announcers have talked about him a couple of times being one of the bright spots on the defense and Todd McShay talked about him having a high ceiling in the draft. His coverage skills have really stood out at LSU. He has had some nice blitzes too. He had at least two QB Hits that impacted 3rd down plays, and a TFL on a 3rd down stop.

Earlier in the game a Florida OLineman head butted him after a play was over. They reviewed for targeting but didn’t call it. Which was BS. Of course Jabril didn’t retaliate or anything. He has probably been the most consistent player for LSU this year.

It was egregious targeting. Jabril was standing away from the tackle pile after the player was down and the Florida lineman just straight up lunged his helmet into Jabril’s helmet. I am not sure how you can conclude no targeting on that. That seemed like the definition of targeting.
