Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Stumpf gets injured tomorrow, Dan Marlette is his backup, right? At least that is what I have gleaned from coach's words. I would say that, right now at least, he is the favorite for that spot. Plank and Cox for Tucker's; unless, of course, Coach relents and lets Cox play SS.

IMO, this defense really needs a superior athlete with size,strength and elite tackling skills to be an enforcer at the SS position, if it is going to be a dominant crushing force.
