ACL tear was in his junior year of high school I believe.
Run the damn ball!! PRO FBS
I've now successfully gone through all the stages of grief on this, so wish Jabril the very best for his final year of college ball and whatever comes next. Plus, a former student of mine is on the LSU faculty, so there's always that....
Bison gonna Bison, FCS or FBS(tm)
im cool with it, I like that our star can be a star at LSU (NDSU is legit top 25 FBS program)
HOWEVER........ NFL Draft " #8 Pick Jabril Cox LSU" Monday Night Football... "#42 Jabril Cox LSU "
NDSU misses out on a shit ton of exposure.
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?
OH ya.. DOH'k. BULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLSH
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?
I think this is more what I like about it. Sure, there’s a personal satisfaction of hearing “North Dakota State University” out of Carson’s mouth on SNF/MNF... I don’t “need” it but I sure do enjoy it. I think it’s good for recruiting though, and that’s what I care more about.
And also, the fact that they all say their name and then the school they went to makes me think a lot of players and fans actually do still care about this.
Last thing... I always thought it was funny when Jared Allen would say “Culinary Academy” instead of Idaho State. Makes me wonder if Jabril might decide to say NDSU instead of LSU once he plays.
