Anyone read the Athletic article? What's the gist of it?

Gist of it is, Jabril is like Matt Mahoney in Bb last year. Things considered to be important when you graduate from High School change. When you have made it big it's time to move on. A few people are capable of doing so and succeed. Jabril appears to have the tools to do so. However lots of things have to fall in place for it to pay off for him. Bo Pelini can't play the games and endure the physical punishment for Jabril anymore than Chris Kleiman could for Nick Deluca so the future remains to be seen.
Iff rd s over. No longer a Bison. Can we move this thread to another topic.

I have to agree with Chapo here, hard to know what the real impact is, but I would say it’s at least a positive impact.
The Bisonville MASTERS Pool
Winners - 2020: Vet70 | 2021: ND Gooch | 2023: Strategery
This is absolutely true, HOWEVER, the mothership absolutely wont miss the opportunity to pimp NDSU in that situation. I promise you the first thing Kiper says after the pick is something to the effect of: "wow, Jabril Cox, started his career by compiling 3 of the most dominating years ever to be compiled in the FCS at NORTH DAKOTA STATE (cue infinite highlight real from NDSU- sprinkled in with a few from LSU)"
1. The FCS was the Best option for NDSU for a very long time.
2. As a general rule- the FCS sucks at football and has proven that is not committed to football at all.
3. It's time to go FBS
