Neither are Kansas City or Cincinnati. Even Chicago and New York are mild compared to Fargo. They'll get cold but most winter days are in the 30s. Single digits are their extreme cold. Buffalo and Green Bay would be the closest comparisons. I think I can count on 1 hand the number of days with a high below zero in the last 10 years.
