Random question. Does the NCAA issue injury insurance to protect against any lost value if the player gets hurt in college or is that issues by the university.

Wonder if nick could have gotten one of those or if it becomes more difficult to prove value at the fcs level.

It's kind of like gambling... if there's someone willing to pay to insure something... anything... then there's probably someone somewhere willing to insure it at the right price.

Never heard of the NCAA offering that. There are private insurers who do. Its not uncommon for high draft potential players to insure.

I would guess at some point the NFL and NCAA will adopt a policy similar to the NBA where underclassmen can declare, go through a good chunk of the predraft process to get a better idea of where they stand, and if they didn't hire an agent they can withdraw their name and go back to school.
I agree if they have the same rule as the NBA, i think it would be an advantage to some athletes. Wouldn't they have to expand the combine then? You would imagine more and more people would go and test the waters if this is the rule, and you know it is very hard to get invited to the combine.

After watching more film, I absolutely want Jabril as a Wide Receiver. He’s so fricking fast, and he’s proven he has good hands. He would win 50/50 balls 80% of the time.

Cox and Brooks. They both accelerate so quick it seems unnatural.

Cox is needed right where he is playing.
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

I agree. I could see him as a hybrid safety in a future career...
