    Total waste of money.

For $8,000, six faculty members could have gone to a four-day academic conference in Tampa to share their research.

What's Bresciani going to do? Sign an MOU with a couple of Indian schools that could lead to 200 new graduate students a year who pay $25,000 each annually to get an American education?

Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir."
Scrooge-"Are there no prisons?". "Plenty of prisons..."
Scrooge-"And the Union workhouses." . "Are they still in operation?". "Both very busy, sir..."
"Those who are badly off must go there."
"Many can't go there; and many would rather die."
Scrooge- "If they would rather die," "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."

There should be an investigation into how much the nickname fiasco has cost ND taxpayers.

What an ass lick. I dont mind accountability, but stupidity and fishing expeditions are SOOOOOO BS!! Can you imagine if he was held to the same level of scrutiny.......I wonder what this Tioga jerk off has for skeletons in his closet. Does he own any oil or ag land and is he on any committees deciding on oil/ag issues?

Speaking of fishing expeditions, there should be an investigation into how much his frivolous open records requests have cost the University.

HA just looking at Robert 'Bob' J. Skarphol connections and just my opinion on the unsavory way he conducts his legislative self....being a beating man, I bet there are all sorts of interesting threads to pull on with regard to legislative decisions and his oil and ag interests! This is not the first time I felt that he has abused his position.

Such a small expense for a much larger return, but some just can't look outside their own box. At least the chancellor recognizes the potential benefits.......

    Hagerott defended that effort.

"I mean, we are North Dakota's school system, but we do want to have diversity, we do want to have really highly qualified researchers to come build our programs," he said.

Sounds about right. Throwing random days into Travelocity show round trip tickets starting at $1,045 for FAR to New Delhi.

a nice nugget MMcF added in his article that will get overlooked is his accurate and well placed dig on ND students not being ready for 4 year degrees.
