I think it's that it's a local issue so you are only aware of it locally. There are tool politicians like this everywhere. Watch the local news when you travel and you'll see the same stories with different players everywhere.

When I read that Ed Shaefer is getting thirty three thousand per month for being an interim pres I thought that was excessive pay from the ND taxpayer. I wonder what Skarpohl thinks of this.

You mean 400k a year is too much to pay a guy with zero experience being the CEO of a major State university???? No.....maybe they are paying him to hatch fish, you know he was good at that, wasn't he?

What's with the fish hatchery comment? The business failed. Not the first and not the last. Will you scrutinize all the farmers that go bankrupt after this year? How about the smaller independent oil & gas companies?

Yeah, when Ed tried farming it didn't turn real well. But I'm not knocking Ed, actually don't dislike him, but he sure put one over on the taxpayers with this one. Can't hardly beleive the higher ed board went along with it. It involves way more money than amount the bitter, hating Skarpohl was whining about today.
