Red headed step child complex. When we went down to a UNI game 4 years ago we had a great time and had great interaction with many of the UNI fans. But every--I mean in EVERY conversation they would start talking bad about Hawkeye fans, the school etc etc. A lot of inferiority going on down there. No different from when I was in IC back in the early 70s. So the butt hurt has been going on a loooong time.

    And there it was.

P.S. Are you guys sure you are ready for when the Hokeyes turn all this cleverness toward you?

When do we find out if our ticket requests through NDSU went through?

They took the info of the website since you can't request anymore.

Some say it's a backward place. Narrow minds on a narrow way, but I make it a point to say. That that's where I come from.

Hawkeyes have a very powerful running game. They consistently ran for 6-5 yards every play against their big 10 opponents last year. Near the endzone it was mostly a QB draw or RB carring the ball for a TD. This will be the toughest game our D-Line has ever played.

We will have a hard time establishing our run game. I dont think Easton will be able to run like he did last year against Missouri Valley opponents, so we need to have good throwing strategy.

" Our strategy for winning against BISON was simple, we put our WRs and RBs in a 1 on 1 situation with their defense in the backfield.....everybody knows they have some freshman who cannot tackle in a 1 on 1 situation.....Joe Glen"

Yes- spread it out. Only run if it is working right away and every time.

No way NDSU can stick to the run and beat a quality big 12, er Big 10 team that plays this brand of football.
