To be fair, there's been a lot of respect given to NDSU over the past half decade, from a lot of places. And its been growing.

My favorite article of all time is still the one on SBNation where they suggested the FBS should *never* schedule NDSU.

Much of the respect, not all, has the, "but NDSU is still only FCS" somewhere wthin a positive statement.

You just don't get it........duh, but it is often included as an asterisk to downplay the significance of compliment given.......i.e. only one FBS game a year, the rest against lowly FCS.......and so on.

Your the one always downplaying the significance of compliments given! ...Little Man syndrome! Until we play at the FBS level people are going to comment about the level we currently play at. Its not that they are always disrespecting our accomplishments. They are just stating the obvious fact!

Thanks for posting this. I have quite a few clients who are from Nebraska and it was sweet to send them the link to this article and point out that NDSU is ranked as a tougher game than their beloved Huskers. What was even sweeter was to point out that the three players/positions mentioned in the article, QB, WR, & MLB, are all from Nebraska
