Weather Note to Those Driving to Frisco

A heads up to those driving to Frisco next week.

An ice/snow storm is currently forecasted for areas south of us late Thursday and into Friday.

Leaving a little early to avoid this wouldn't be a bad idea. Remember, places to the south of us don't have the large amount of equipment to deal with this sort of thing that we do.

I agree, Thanks for this. PLans now are to head south early wed. morning with an overnight in Topeka with cousins, into Frisco thursday afternoon...we will keep checking this storm!

Got a school bus route to do; hope to leave at 4:00 pm Wednesday........hopefully make Topeka without any weather issues; or, if the weather cooperates, we will drive on to Wichita.

We're taking off at dumb-thirty in the AM on Wed and driving down to at least OKC the first day maybe further depending on how we feel at OKC about more windshield time. Should miss the weather event.
