Until this morning I legitimately thought the MN/CMU game was last Monday. The way I found out it was today is someone at work asked a Gopher season ticket holder if they were watching the game, and they had no idea what game they were talking about.
Some say it's a backward place. Narrow minds on a narrow way, but I make it a point to say. That that's where I come from.

Gophers coming on in 2 hours. . Im still not happy that they kept dilly bar claeys as the coach. with no AD right now, they really didnt have a choice I guess.

Gophers should run over the chippewas 34-21 high scoring game.l

My honest assessment of how we would do vs bowl teams on a neutral field, assuming a 100% ready Wentz.

Reps on that; matches up pretty much with my thinking. I still think there are folks out there who think that just because NDSU is FCS that they can't play with these bowl teams, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Really started for me with the 2013 team as you knew that team was a legit top 25 team, and would have given a good game to anyone outside of probably the top 10.
You asked why ESPN gives it more air time. The conference affiliation is a huge part of the decision. That's all I was answering.

I doubt many people nationally know the difference between CMU and NDSU in terms of FCS/FBS but if bet many would pick NDSU and recognize the uniform. Even if it looks like the Packers.

I still think our blowout win over CMU in 07 is vastly underrated. They were no match for us and they won the Mac and nearly won their bowl game vs Purdue.

AND, there if no doubt the MAC knows this. Let's face it, with how tough FBS games have gotten to schedule, NDSU would gladly take a guarantee from a MAC school, but there has never been a game for years now. There is a reason......

Just looked up their season. They come across as weaker than I remember.

Gave up 40 6 times. Gave up 30 5 more times. Only non-MAC win was against Army. Kept it close with Purdue in the bowl...got rocked by them in the regular season. Gave up 70 to a fringe top-25 Clemson.
