I often read, rarely post, almost never start a thread -

What is funniest, craziest, most memorable moments from your trips to Frisco? I have flown twice and driven twice, driving > flying in my experience. I will start it off -


1st Year Driving - Leaving Fargo at 6:30 AM and Drinking a Beer on the hotel patio in Lewisville at 9:40 PM that evening - I think that has to be the fastest Fargo to Frisco drive time.

1st Year Hotel - Drinking the hotel out of beer, I remember the last beers left were Amstel, New Castle, Beck's, ect.

Overwhelming Pizza Hut Park - Was there 1 Porta Potty?

The first trip down in January 2012 at 3rd Base after the game and they played "We are the Champions" while the whole bar sang along. I remember cooks from their back kitchen peeking there head around the corner giving the "What the $%&^ is going on out there???" look.

officer:you were going a little fast
Me:yeah, sorry about that, guess I'm used to ND speedlimits.
officer:where u going in such a hurry?
meallas. going to see the Bison in the fcs championship game.
officer:yeah, well your at least the fifth Nodaker I've pulled over today. Drive safe and hold the speed down, and good luck in the game.

3 years ago as I was walking in to the hotel a Missouri fan stopped and asked if I was checking in. I said yes, he said, here you go. He gave me a cooler 1/2 full of beer and a 1/2 bottle of whiskey. I think they just got beat in the Cotton Bowl or something and he was done and was going to check out.

It's hilarious when they run out.... They act like they can't believe it just happened.

Watching the great herd migration in January 2014 on the Bison Tracker app was pretty fun. I wish that feature still worked.

Working in SW Iowa and running to Sioux City to scan patients with a mobile MRI scanner. It was great seeing all the ND plates and Bison flags. Only to join them a few days later

3rd Base when there was probably a mix of 90/10 mix of Bison vs SHSU fans the first year. They'd start a chant and the Bison would drown them out with our own cheer...
