Nice win. Good game to get a bunch of guys some playing time.
Another slow start by our team last night but played well in the 2nd half and down the stretch. I actually really like our new starting lineup with Khy running the point and moving Carlin to one of the off guard spots opposite Miller. This tweet from NDSU MBB says it all:
"Freshman Khy Kabellis in his 1st career start: 6 assists, 5 points, 5 boards, 0 turnovers. 29-to-9 assist-to-turnover ratio for the season."
The 29-9 assist to TO ratio so far this season is absolutely crazy for a freshman, he takes great care of the ball and is a fantastic passer. Going to be a nice piece in this offense going forward this year. Even if KB can make it back I would rather see Khy start at the point and have Dupree come off the bench as I think Khy is a way better true PG and the stats would agree. Dupree has a 25-28 assist to turnover ratio and his 28 turnovers lead the team in that stat.
