Yet, Sammy's are so much closer. I would bet a similar turnout to Sammy, but hoping would like to find out.

That would be depressing. It makes the game look like a joke if only one team's fans care enough to go.

I've been to all 4. That one was the least memorable in many ways.

Agreed, the Towson game was the least entertaining. 35-7 is a blowout for the title game....
Wow, thinking about it some and realizing, i'm calling the championships based off opponents and not which title # it is for us now.
My favorite trip though would have to be the first one. Good game, and it being the first one i experienced, had the feeling of being "once in a lifetime" feel. Since then it seems like business.
Though my favorite game would have to be the ISUr one last January.
Excellent game and one of favorites, right behind GSU ala 2012 and SDSU 2014, and.....I'm rambling, aren't I?...

    my apologizes...//end ranmble

Must be younger than me. The lack of stress was nice.

What did you honestly expect? Towson to keep it close vs one of the best Fcs 1aa schools ever?

No, I think everybody knew that it wouldn't even be close and that's what happened.

Which is the reason none of their fans showed up!

And yet a myth exists that Towson won a national championship with West---it was in an article a month or so ago and was repeated by Gruden on MNF.
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

I usually avoid watching games that are not exciting. After watching them win a couple, I'd rather the team I cheer for lose a great close game than watch a boring blowout win(if I am going on a long-ass road trip).
