Nick was an ANIMAL on Saturday. He was everywhere.
Very sad to see he's done.

Yeah, I don't like posting rumors on here, but my nephew (who lives with 3 football players) said Nick came over last night and was confirming. Also confirmed the fact that as of right now he IS planning to get another year.
I guess it was just getting too painful. Bummer for him...

Unfortunate for Nick, and the Bison defense. I know he'll be on the sideline coaching the young guys up just like GO did when he got hurt. Next man up!

Trying to see the light in all this is we get him when we absolutely NEEDED him this year, and we will have him back crushing people next year (hopefully!)
I hope he has a full recovery and I hope his draft stock just goes up up up with another year to showcase his skills!
Timeline after surgery would most likely not allow him to participate in senior bowl or all star bowls. 4-6 months before to can do anything. I would say if medical redshirt is granted he will be back with NDSU next year.

My boss hates it when I shorten his name to Dick, mainly because his name is Steven.
Is he gonna be able to get another year. He is awfully close to being over the requirements...

Perry, Heagle, Olson, Beck, Wentz, now Deluca. We have seen this before and overcome it. Next man up.

Based upon everything I've read on here, he should be eligible for a medical hardship year. I'm bummed, but I'm excited we get to see him at NDSU for another year. These are the kind of guys that are so valuable to the program, and the leadership will be present even when he's not suiting up.
