Even though I'm in the baby boomer crowed I absolutely love the helmet including the color and design. The wheat stripe is just great. The best part is the expense has already been taken care of by outside sources. Everything about this is fantastic!

I would assume so to sand down and paint each time would be time consumimg, and then to decal them all also. Those helmets retail for 300-500 dollars, guessing schools get a good break for the quantities they order but all the decals can add up. Plus they have to have extras in case of a problem and promotional stuff
