I don't think it would be stupid. That being said I like the yellow one too much to discard it.
One thing I would like to see is maybe the OLD snorty on the green matte... Think it would look very, very cool.
I think we should use this in code green (all green- look at Baylor, they look great in all green (UND is not a fair comparison since their green is significantly different than ours)) and in Gold rush games

For me, it could be yellow, green, black, blue, or a unicorn with rainbows (OK, not that last one). In the immortal words of NFL owner Al Davis: "Just win, baby!"
Not a fan of any dark helmets. I believe this will impact our QB pass completion %. My logic is simple, with bright helmets QB can easily find out where his receivers are, not so much with dark helmets. We could have gone for Chrome yellow helmets
" Our strategy for winning against BISON was simple, we put our WRs and RBs in a 1 on 1 situation with their defense in the backfield.....everybody knows they have some freshman who cannot tackle in a 1 on 1 situation.....Joe Glen"

Probably not much documentation. Although, I did read once that Michigan's helmet design has the advantage of being easier to spot and there is some who argue that the design also aids in depth perception and recognition of the path of the receiver allowing more accurate throws. BS? Maybe.
