    Shepherd was drafted by the St Louis Battlehawks of the XFL. They were one of the more fun teams last season. Might have to watch some XFL this year.

    Just an aside: Roger Staubach joined the Dallas Cowboys as a 27 yr old rookie in 1969; in addition, he didn't win the starting qb job until the fall of 1971........so there's that.

    Just heard Darrius' name called for St Louis returning a punt. #11.
    North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

    Darius had 7 catches for 79 yards and 2 tds yesterday for St Louis. Seems to be building some chemistry with McCarron.

    Darius having a good day with XFL St Louis! 6 catches for 96 yards and a TD. Also, 5 kickoff returns each averaging 26.4 yards. Lots of NDSU mentions by the ESPN announcers.

    He has been a top 5 WR in the XFL this year.
